The Tropo Air Quality Educational Video is taking shape with visual effects and story elements being added.

Wilm U utilized the fun dept. to virtually engage their teams through a hosted experience of fun-filled sessions competing in Popcorn Culture. Become Happier… Healthier and More Connected with the fun dept.

Casting is underway for a new co-host for our Plate at 8 project, and the calendar is filling up with future projects.

Local Television, Local Politics, Fun with Local Education and Celebrity Boxing

We kicked off this week by visiting our friends over at DETV promoting the #DoMore24DE campaign on Good Morning Wilmington. Look out for more Mr. Delaware Gives dropping on their station and around as the buzz builds towards Giving Day.

Love was in the air this week and we are loving all of these conversations dripping out with non-profit leaders. We even had the pleasure to talk to County Executive Matt Meyer and Lt. Governor Bethany Hall Long.

As we move ever closer to the launch of the Official Celebrity Boxing Podcast, the team is busy working on post-production of the first few episodes as we schedule more, digging into this highly entertaining and controversial world.

Wrapping things up this week, our friends at Wilmington University got a much deserved dose of fun from the fun dept. with a series of Virtual Quick Plays engaging their departments and bonding their teams.

Thank you for another Inspiring, Creative, and Productive Week!

Delaware Business First‘s last monthly networking event of the year was this week, and as always, it was a good turn out. It was a pleasure seeing old and new faces connecting one last time before the new year!

The Fun Dept. is finishing the year off strong with the Ultimate Virtual Holiday Party for SiloSmashers. With a mix of music, creative challenges, custom elements and led experiences… there was plenty of fun to go around. The Fun Dept. knows how to throw a virtual party!

Adding More Creative Space, An Award Nomination, and Holiday Fun!

We started this week off with some internal work. We are making some cool additions to our studio space as well as to our downstairs basement. How exciting is that?!

Next was the 2022 Small Business Awards. We were a finalist for the Creative/Art Business Of The Year. Our team didn’t take home the win, but we appreciate the recognition from the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce, and we’re eager for next year!

It was time to have some fun! The Fun Dept. headed to Troutman Pepper to have a good time and make their holiday party complete. We could have walked, but we had to carry a lot of stuff. What’s a party without some fun activities?

Don McNeill was in the studio to help our crew with constructing and making edits for the Plate at 8 pilot. We are very excited about how this video is coming together. Be on the lookout for the completion of this project.

The Fun Dept. took their talents to Brandywine Counseling & Community Services for their holiday event. We helped with emceeing for the party, creating laughs, and passing out raffle prizes. We had fun helping the BCCS spread some holiday cheer!

The Fun Dept. also had a meeting with our good friends at Goodwill to wrap up this year with a bang. To start, we will be creating a Happy Holidays video to show appreciation to everyone that helps make GOODWILL awesome!

Light The Night and Halloween Fun at SiloSmashers

It’s spooky season, and we sure had an eventful week. Kicking things off, we attended another Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night ceremony, this time in Chester County. We want to continue to honor those touched by blood-related cancer and always do our part to build awareness and help the fight to beat cancer!

The Fun Dept. headed down to Broad Run, Virginia, during Halloween Weekend for the SiloSmashers to help engage in some fun activities. We celebrated 30 years of business for the SiloSmashers company and watched an amazing tribute video that our team crafted together. Overall, this was an awesome time and a great way to celebrate the SiloSmashers team!

We hope you enjoyed your Halloween weekend as much as us and…

Man City in Philly, Women in Business, the fun dept in Newark!

We traveled to Philadelphia for the Man City NBC10 live broadcast.  What an entertaining event to watch all the matches and to cheer for your favorite Premier League club.

Shoots for Delaware Business Times Women In Business occurred this week. Delaware Business Times celebrates women in business all throughout the state. Congratulations to all the honorees, and it was a pleasure having them in our studio.

The Fun Dept. headed to Newark, DE, to have an amazing time with W.L. Gore. It was awesome — playing cornhole, using the slingshots — and it’s always exciting when the axes come out. What a thrilling way to end our week!

The boys are back in town! Our employee engagement team The Fun Dept. will be heading to several WSFS Bank locations all throughout October in Delaware, Philadelphia, and even New Jersey to seize the moment to have fun! (They have 90 branches – but we can’t be everywhere!)

We wrapped up this week by doing more shoots for the Office of Child Advocates, and prepping for an upcoming shoot next week for Plate At 8. We are excited for what’s to come!

The Big Dill, Neil Energy, Brandywine River Restoration, and Tilly’s Escape

This action-packed week kicked off with The Big Dill and it was exactly that. Hosted by our own Christopher Bruce, people from all over the US came to Baltimore to celebrate, taste, party, and enjoy all things PICKLE. RISE and BRINE!

The Office of the Child Advocate called on us to help produce a training module designed to help medical professionals identify the signs of abuse. We are glad we could help make our community safer.

Shifting gears, Neil Energy leaned on the fun dept. to activate their team Field Day at the Chase Fieldhouse, bringing to life their Olympic-themed carnival experience filled with team activities, a full midway, and plenty of SWAG!!!

City council member and BRRT advocate, Zanthia Oliver, shared why supporting the Brandywine River Restoration efforts are important to her and our city. Visit www.brrt.org to learn more.

We closed out the week celebrating our efforts in the production of the Harriet Tubman-inspired “Tilly Escape” story in partnership with the National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom, the Seaford Historical Society, and the City of Wilmington Preservation Planning Office at a film premiere down in Seaford, DE.

Getting to Business with BBT’s 40 Under 40 and Fun at Killens Pond

We are focusing on excellence this week with doing shoots for 40 under 40. Delaware Business Times awards 40 outstanding leaders under the age of 40 who are making a change through business excellence, innovative ideas, and what they do in their communities.

The Fun Dept is back doing what they do best when we took a drive down to Killens Pond in Felton, Delaware, to engage in some activities with the Dept of State. The trikes were there, and the finals race was a nail-biter. Stay tuned to see what The Fun Dept have up its sleeves next.

Lastly, we did some planning for the 2022 CRA Awards for Delaware Community Reinvestment Action Council. This year is about Game Changers Risk Takers. Who will win? Make sure you watch the 2022 CRA Awards on October 13th.
