St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church

The St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church is a superb destination in Wilmington, Delaware, if you’re seeking one. St. Hedwig Elementary School and this medieval church are both situated on Linden Street between S. North College Avenue and Harrison Street. It was constructed in 1904, and in 1982, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Its distinctive design, which includes a Greek cross layout and two towers rising 40 meters tall, making it a distinctive attraction. The parish of the Diocese of Wilmington is thriving and busy. St. John Neumann established the church, which welcomes people of all races and religions. From April through December, tours are offered every Wednesday through Sunday.
